My Story
After working as a mental health provider for over 20 years, the last few years were incredibly challenging. The self-care practices I relied on earlier no longer sustained me as I aged. Life caught up with me, and stress led to health issues like high blood pressure, heart palpitations, depression, low energy, and an overwhelming sense of hopelessness. I felt scared, confused, and exhausted. Conventional medicine put me on a cycle of medications that only worsened my health. Recognizing that increasing my pharmaceutical intake wasn’t the answer, I made a significant change. With my family's unwavering support, I left my job to focus on healing and reclaiming my overall well-being.
I immersed myself in integrative health, merging my mental health background and yoga expertise. This journey allowed me to reinvent myself, moving away from the mentality of "pulling myself up by my bootstraps" and instead focusing on a holistic approach that didn't rely on medications that complicated my health. Embracing lifelong learning, I transformed into an Integrative Health Practitioner.
